When daisy was just a puppy, she lost her leg in a terrible accident.
She was adopted by Karen (a social worker) and Russ (a doctor of physical therapy)
and now works as a therapy dog helping children accept their differences.

On Daisy's first day in her new home, she hopped right out to the pool and jumped right in. What she did not realize was that three-legged dogs don't swim like four-legged dogs, and she almost drowned.
